The player vs The Money-loving Slut

27 Feb

I recently had a chat with a good friend of mine and the conversation moved to relationships and who suffers more between a man and a woman. Ofcourse being female, i sided with my fellow females. His side of the story was that usually when a man likes a woman, most of the time it turns out that the woman might just be a Gold digger or a slut. And that though a man may put in months and sometimes even years to get the woman he fancies, at the end of it all the woman might just turn out to be ‘a wolf in sheep’s clothing’. But i kept asking myself in my mind if what he was saying was somehow true and the only thought that came to my mind was how guys were never appreciative of a good thing when they had it. It is girls that have to spend hours and sometimes painful hours trying to look good for their men. All the time and money put into hair, clothes, dieting, the gym and even researching about how to please a man. With a lot of women wanting to be in relationships and not a lot of good guys to go around for everyone, the struggle to fight off the ‘baddies’ wanting to pounce on your man increases. And even after all that, the guy somehow ‘strays’ and moves on to the next available girl. And as if that is not enough, the pressure to look good just keeps mounting with all these celebrities and supermodels trying to decide what society’s view should be like on what is HOT and what is NOT.

Lol I have developed an open mind that enables me look at things from all angles not just the ‘bro side’ I know what you talking about n I know exactly what your mate was talking about, I went through a bit of that buh some of mates probably had it worse. My mate Jerome was this good, sweet, God fearing guy *Or atleast thats what he made all the females think* He liked this girl while we were in the 11th grade who was in the same grade as well who never liked him back, she would say ‘No’ to a relationship with Jerome in the most unconvincing way n that just kept Jerome’s hopes as high as Wiz Khalifa. Him n I were at the same school n she was by a girl’s just a few blocks from ours. The guy tried eyfin to get to her, he tried being nice, he got her stuff n what not *I blame him on this one coz she barely asked for anyfin buh accepted them anyway n that gave J ideas* n if he was broke, he always found a way to ‘borrow’ money from me which he didn’t return¤lol I knew he wouldn’t return it anyway¤. . 12th grade came n J never stopped, he would even take her to her school, go back home then his uncle would bring him to school every single day, if the car was down, he would get a cab then take her to school, I fink she only walked to school a handful of times through the whole of 12th grade, he still showered her with chains, chocolet, ice cream n not the cheap ones. We *my other mates n I* would try to tell him not to waste so much on her coz in my eyes 2 years without any visible breakthrough is a waste of time buh he was too blind. We completed school n he was still at it though he began reducing till somefin like may when she met some guy and started eatin within 2weeks.lol. Imagine Jerome’s pain. They are still mates though, n the girl is still dating that guy. Lol Life is funny.

Hehe just laugh, it was unfortunate buh 2+ years yaya saana, teti nkwanishe. . . LOL iwe teine, I must admit the longest I’ve held on is 5 months, she was cold towards me and she still refused, a month after I stopped and moved on to greener pastures, she changed her mind buh I had already moved on, it’s hard for a guy to change his mind after it’s made.
